Exciting Announcements from Dr. DeMio and the Staff, 7/6/8

Please welcome Cindy Sutherland and Maggie Layne to our practice

Dr. DeMio, Lisa Roberts, and Angela Woodward are excited to announce the addition of Cindy Sutherland as the new office manager in the Columbus office.  She is very excited to take care of the needs of the rapidly growing office.  We would also like to welcome Maggie Layne in our Cleveland office.  She comes to us with a background in administration in career schools and looks forward to working with our patients and families.

Hyperbaric services to be expanded

Currently, Dr. DeMio has hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT) services at each of the Worthington and Cleveland offices. Due to the heavy schedule demand for HBOT, another hyperbaric unit has been added at the Worthington office. Call Cindy Sutherland with any scheduling needs.

Angela Shoemaker is taking individual appointments via phone and in-person

Angela Woodward, our Physician-to-Parent Liaison, is now available for her own appointments with families who wish to meet and discuss biomedical care with her privately. These are individual appointments with Angie, as she and Dr. DeMio have begun doing many of their respective appointments with patients separately. Your appointments with Angie can be scheduled for a variety of issues, including those regarding your child’s general biomedical program, chelation, immune/viral issues, gastrointestinal care, etc.  Types of appointments might be for reasons such as:

Supplement integration and implementation

Protocol review and discussion following appointments with Dr. DeMio

Information about various biomedical interventions out of curiosity or for consideration of future implementation about treatments that may be new to you, eg., far Infrared therapy, selecting antiviral protocols, priming with appropriate supplements for HBOT, IV treatments, etc.

General biomedical information for new patients & families who have not yet begun the process or are just getting started

Many other miscellaneous questions  and biomedical needs families would like to address individually with Angie

The visits will be scheduled in blocks of time according to what the parent requests, eg.,an hour. These will be individual appointments with Angie, who will be working under Dr. DeMio’s supervision and will be able to discuss all cases with him.
